1998 Seiko 'TV Dial' Quartz Perpetual Calendar (8F32-5000)

$95.00 AUD

Nifty piece of Y2k era tech from Seiko. Inside the squared steel 'liquid metal' style case we find an ultra-high accuracy quartz 8F32 movement. This was closely related to the high-end movements being put into Grand Seikos at the time and was the culmination of decades of Seiko quartz tech development. It features:

Intelligent perpetual calendar that shifts accordingly from month to month (and even accounts for leap years!)
Accuracy to within 20 seconds a year
10 years of running time per battery change

This particular example is in good condition, keeping good time and running as expected. Case has surface wear and tear with some light marking as pictured. Crystal and dial are clean. Currently fitted to the original integrated bracelet sized for a 17.5cm wrist.

Dimensions:
37.5mm diameter (including crown)
46mm lug to lug
10.5mm thick
