1992 Seiko Quartz Blue Dial 'Braille' Watch (7C17-8000)
Intended for the visually impaired, Seiko's braille watches feature a unique design where the crystal flips up to allow wearers to feel the time using the hands and raised indices. They've been super consistent with this design, maintaining the same case style for the last 50 years and just updating the movement over the years, so even though this particular piece is from 1992 it has a very 70s look with the curved case, blue enamel dial and domed acrylic crystal.
In good condition. Case crystal and dial all have light wear and patina as pictured but are holding up well. Movement is keeping good time and working well. Currently fitted to the original steel bracelet sized for an approx 19cm wrist with no extra links.
