1979 Alba/Seiko Linen Dial Quartz Day-Date (Y504-8010)

Early example of JDM Seiko sub-brand Alba hitting way above their weight. This one has all the trappings of a late 70s/early 80s vintage Seiko quartz piece, with a stunning silver linen dial inside a faceted 'grammar of design' steel case. On the dial we find a Japanese/English day-date complication, applied 'Alba' logo and applied numeral indices.

In good condition. Movement is working as expected and keeping good time. Case has some light scratching and surface-level marking as pictured. Mineral crystal has some light marks. Bezel has some scuffing around the lower edge. Currently fitted to a brown leather strap in good used condition.
